These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of Chalet 1551, located in Lech, Austria. By confirming your booking and making a deposit, you agree to the terms outlined herein and the Standard Terms for the Hotel Industry (GTHC) under Austrian law, which are accessible at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
1. Services Included
The following services are included in your booking:
• Accommodation: 7 nights of luxury accommodation with exclusive use of Chalet 1551 and its facilities.
• Half-Board Dining: Daily breakfast and dinner on 6 nights prepared in-house by a Michelin-starred private chef (formerly from Bord’Eau of Hotel D’Europe and Restaurant 212 in Amsterdam). A tailored dining experience will be curated in consultation with guests prior to arrival, including preferences and requests. We also cater to children.
• Dedicated Service: Full service by the experienced Chalet 1551 team throughout your stay.
• Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping, turn-down service, daily towel changes, and luxury amenities.
• Complimentary Driving Service: Within Lech, provided by a private chauffeured luxury vehicle or Polaris snowmobile.
2. Exclusions
Please note that the following items are not included in the rental amount:
• Flights and airport transfers
• Third-party bookings include ski instructors, ski rentals, pre-purchased ski passes, and any requested items in the chalet. A 5% administrative fee applies to all third-party arrangements.
• Massages and spa treatments
• Childcare arrangements
• Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Local Lech tourism guest taxes
• Any items not explicitly mentioned as included
3. Booking Confirmation and Payment
• A 50% deposit is required within 7 days of booking confirmation. This deposit confirms your acceptance of these terms, conditions, and exclusions.
• The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days before arrival.

• Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once we issue this confirmation letter and receive the 50% deposit. Acceptance of this deposit confirms agreement to these terms, conditions, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Out-of-Pocket Expenses: These will be charged separately, and a 5% administrative fee will apply to all third-party payments made by Chalet 1551.
4. Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, the following fees will apply:
• More than 90 days prior to arrival: Free cancellation
• 90 to 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total rental amount
• Less than 60 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total rental amount
5. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: After 15:00 on the day of arrival
• Check-Out: Before 11:00 on the day of departure
• Pets: Chalet 1551 does not accommodate pets.
6. Additional Terms
These Terms and Conditions are subject to Austrian law and regulations. The General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (GTHC) published by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce also apply, except where otherwise stated in this agreement.
